BP Defence

Overview

Project Goal:

The project involved designing a modern responsive web e-commerce platform for a new company specializing in bulletproof backpacks for children. The challenge was to create a branding and design system that carefully navigated the sensitive topic of guns and children's safety. Our objective was to strike a balance between conveying security and safety while maintaining a positive and empowering tone, avoiding any overtly negative or fear-based messaging.

Key Features:

Delicate Branding and Design System: We developed a design system that emphasized peace of mind and protection, using reassuring imagery. The branding was crafted to position the company as a positive force for change, addressing a critical issue in a way that is hopeful and forward-thinking.

Responsive Design: The site is fully responsive, ensuring a seamless and accessible user experience across all devices, from desktops to mobile phones.

E-Commerce Integration: The platform includes a robust e-commerce system, fully integrated with Stripe for secure and efficient payment processing.

My Role

UX designer: Created design system/branding, responsive layouts, and copywriting. I did not work on initial sitemap and wireframes.
